About the client
Van Mossel, a mobility company and automotive group, has grown over the past 75 years to become the largest automotive company in the Benelux, with more than 7,000 employees. The family-owned company has over 450 locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, and operates 43 dealerships.
About the project
2BHonest has been involved in sustainability issues at Van Mossel since 2022. In 2022, we worked with them to develop their sustainability strategy and supported them in writing their 2022 sustainability report. You can find this sustainability report here.
Work
In 2023, we entered into a new partnership to help them comply with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). During this process, we examined which sustainability topics are material to Van Mossel and what the company is required to report on. Through analyses of internal and external documentation, interviews, and workshops, we compiled an appropriate list of topics on which Van Mossel will be required to report in 2025 and 2026.
To help Van Mossel move forward, we drew up an action plan that they will implement internally. This plan provides the tools companies need to make CSRD reporting as easy as possible.
Result
Thanks to our support, Van Mossel now has a clear sustainability strategy and an action plan to comply with CSRD requirements. This enables them to effectively report on relevant sustainability topics and achieve their sustainability goals.
