About the client
Seyntex, a Belgian family-owned company with a heritage spanning more than 100 years, specializes in manufacturing protective clothing for defense, police, and security services. With its headquarters in Belgium and production facilities in Romania and Bangladesh, Seyntex supplies high-quality equipment to both public and private clients.
About the project
Seyntex faces the challenge of complying with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will take effect in 2026. Seyntex enlisted our help to determine which ESG issues are material to their organization and to identify the steps needed to comply with these new regulations. The goal is to thoroughly prepare and identify the necessary actions for effective implementation.
Work
To prepare Seyntex for the requirements of the CSRD, we identified the material ESG themes for Seyntex through a two-step materiality analysis. These themes were validated through interviews with internal and external stakeholders, resulting in a precise shortlist of relevant topics.
We organized workshops to assess the impact and financial materiality of the selected topics. We also evaluated Seyntex ’s readiness for reporting by analyzing the CSRD reporting requirements.
Based on these analyses and evaluations, we drew up an action plan in which we prioritized the most important actions and linked them to specific tasks and responsibilities within the organization. In the next phase, we will focus on developing an integrated sustainability strategy.
Result
The work carried out provides Seyntex with a clear overview of their current situation, enables them to plan and prioritize strategically, and prepares them for successful CSRD reporting in 2026.
The CSRD process provides a solid foundation for Seyntex to continue working on our sustainability strategy. We are very pleased that we can continue our partnership with 2BHonest to take concrete steps in this area as well.
